# Password Test

The Password Test page allows you to test passwords for acceptability with various policy settings applied. This can be used to help troubleshoot why a password is being rejected with a given set of policies in cases where the Enzoic Windows Client is not able to be used for this purpose.

By selecting the same password policy settings as you have for a given Monitoring Policy and entering a user's information and candidate password, it is possible to get a listing of why the candidate password is being rejected.
